When asked where I’m from, I usually have to think for a moment how to answer. When you are born into a military family and marry a man with a career of frequent relocation, it’s hard to dictate the location of home. I’ve learned to adapt. Home is when I am with my daughter in Georgia, with my sons and grandchildren in West Michigan, and in Illinois on Lake Mary with my husband. Home is where love lives, where comforts defy form.
