Prairie Blossom is the name of a small house and a shop to match, tucked away in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It’s a sunny backdrop with rustic natural elements and the dusty and jeweled colors indicative of the Southwest. Prairie Blossom embraces colorful quilts, turquoise doors, navajo rugs, and the crisp eyelets of petticoats. Luxurious Ralph Lauren meets Fifi O’Neill’s Prairie Style all in living harmony. Please visit us at Je L’Adore 7600 Menaul NE Albuquerque, New Mexico.

UPDATE…

We decided to update Prairie Blossom Home and add more color to the kitchen.  We used Debi’s Design Diary “Mermaid Tale” for the base coat and then applied” Seaglass”  for our second layer on our cabinets.   I wanted an organic feel for the kitchen knobs and all the ones I found were so pricey for our little home.   On my journey from Chicago  to New Mexico I stopped at a gas station that sold these wonderful (inexpensive) Fool’s gold (pyrite) rings.  They reminded me of my grandpa Frampton ,that used to have some of these raw  pieces in his  basement  along with crates of  fresh picked apples, and homemade bottles of vanilla.  Those memories are  so vivid as I write this post.  We scuffed up the ring and the found knobs that we had, pulled off the ring part and  used E6000 to glue together.  We are really happy with the result and much less expense than the ones I wanted from Antrhopology!
